Aiwin is now an IB Candidate School | AiwinはIB候補校となりました
Dear parents and guardians,
We are delighted to announce that our IB journey continues! As of 3rd of January 2023, Aiwin International School Toyonaka campus has been officially granted its candidacy status towards authorization for International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. Mikuni campus is currently at the consultation phase for IB Candidacy.
As an international school, we continue to strive in providing an authentic international learning environment by integrating the best of international curricula from the U.S and the U.K with the educational standards of International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a well-respected and globally recognized accreditation organization for education. We share a strong commitment in providing a high standard of education, at a time of critical growth and development, that promotes personal growth, foster critical thinking, encourage collaboration and develop a global perspective.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) is a comprehensive, transdisciplinary, and inquiry-based curriculum for students aged 3-12. The PYP curriculum and assessment practices are designed to help students develop the 10 attributes of a 21st century learner and includes language, mathematics, science, social studies, arts, and personal, social and physical education. The PYP emphasizes higher order thinking skills, international-mindedness and cultural awareness, helping students to become responsible and informed global citizens.
To become successful in our candidacy, we will have to go through a very rigorous candidacy process, where the school community will undergo trial teaching, consultations, self-reflections, visitations, and evaluations of our educational practices and learning outcomes. As your PYP coordinator, I will work closely with our IB consultant and our own pedagogical team to identify our school’s strengths and areas of improvement in relation to the PYP program standards. Our teachers will also be undergoing intensive professional training in the upcoming months on how to support an internationally minded school community. Parents will play an essential role as we continue to collaborate for events and activities that will build a responsive school community and ensure the ongoing success of the program once it is implemented.
There are many wonderful learning opportunities that await our school community from here on. Opportunities to open up our student’s perspectives to the local and global community and create meaningful connections and caring actions to the world around them. Most importantly, it is our fervent goal that our students can be successful in both their academic and personal goals.
With all of us working together in this journey, we can ensure that our graduates will take with them a sense of responsibility for their own learning, a confident voice and a motivation to take action in building a better, more peaceful world.

IB取得への道のりについて皆様にご報告できます事をとても嬉しく思います。2023年1月3日付で、Aiwin International School豊中校は、国際バカロレア初等部プログラムの認可に向けた候補校としての資格を正式に取得しました。三国校は現在、IB候補校として協議中です。
インターナショナルスクールとして、米国と英国の国際的なカリキュラムと国際バカロレア・PYPの教育水準を融合させ、真の国際的な学習環境を提供することに引き続き努めてまいります。
国際バカロレア（IB）は、世界的に認知された教育認定機関として高い評価を受けています。私たちは、お子さまの発達に重要な時期に、個人の成長、批判的思考、協調性を育み、グローバルな視点を養う高水準の教育を提供することを強く宣言します。
国際バカロレア（IB）のプライマリー・イヤー・プログラム（PYP）は、3歳から12歳を対象とした、総合的で学際的かつ探究的なカリキュラムです。PYPのカリキュラムと評価方法は、21世紀に学ぶ人々が必要な10の特性を身につけることができるように設計されており、言語、数学、科学、社会、芸術、個人教育、社会教育、体育が含まれています。PYPは、高度の思考スキルや国際的感覚、また文化的認識を重視し、お子さまが責任感と知識のある国際社会の一員となるよう支援します。
本校がPYPに加盟するためには、試験指導、協議、自己省察、訪問、実践と学習成果の評価など、非常に厳しいプロセスを経なければなりません。PYPコーディネーターとして、IBコンサルタントや教育学チームと密接に協力し、PYPプログラムの基準に照らし合わせて、学校の強みと改善すべき点を明確にしていきます。 また、教員は、国際的な視野を持つスクールコミュニティーをサポートする方法について、今後数ヶ月間、専門的な研修を受講する予定です。スクールコミュニティーの構築と、PYPプログラムが成功し続けるためにイベントやアクティビティーでの保護者皆様のご協力が不可欠です。引き続きご協力の程、よろしくお願いいたします。
これから先、当校にはたくさんの素晴らしい学びの機会が待っています。地域社会や国際社会に対するお子さまの視野を広げ、お子さまたちを取り巻く世界との有意義なつながりや、思いやりのある行動を生み出す力を築きます。学業と自分自身の目標の両方において成功することが最も重要なことであり、私たちの目標です。
全員で力を合わせることで、卒園生が自らの学習に責任を持ち、自信を持って発言し、平和でより良い世界を築くために行動する力を身に付けることができると考えています。
